Client is on hospice, is bed bound, she needs to be fed, food is pureed, her depend needs to be changes at 3 am. Client gets a sponge bath everyday. Medications are prefilled, pain medications are in syringes. Client is on oxygen most of the day. Client has a hospice volunteer 2 hours a week. Driver's License/car not needed, but if the caregiver has a car, caregiver can go out when the volunteer is with the client. The night shift hours are flexible. Client has a live-in caregiver who needs to be relived at night.
Client has hydrocephalus (water on the brain), also has had falls because of low blood pressure, fractured a shoulder because of one of the falls. Client is mentally sharp, uses a walker. Client needs supervision with transfers, remind him to use walker, medication reminders, meal preparation, companionship. Private bedroom for caregiver, caregiver must have Driver License and clean driving record.
